Michelle English

Certified NurtureLife Pregnancy Massage Practitioner and Remedial Massage Therapist

I have been practising remedial massage since 2012, after completing a Cert IV in Massage Therapy Practice and a Diploma of Remedial Massage. After working in my own private practice I have pursued my passion to support pregnant and post-natal women through the amazing journey of pregnancy, birth and beyond.

After further training I am now qualified as a NurtureLife Practitioner of Pregnancy Massage through Pregnancy Massage Australia, also having completed PMA’s advanced training in Post-Natal Massage and Partner Training for Labour Massage.

Being a NurtureLife Practitioner allows me to support women through holistic, individually tailored treatments to achieve the most positive and natural pregnancy, birth and post-natal outcomes possible. I believe in every woman’s right to feel supported and empowered regardless of her birthing choices or preferences.

I have also had experience in supporting and providing nurturing treatments to women who have experienced complications, birth trauma and loss. An essential component of any post-natal treatment that I give is enabling a reconnection with the body after the experience of birth.

Being a mum to three, and having experienced wonderful births with my own children I am motivated to help women, through my work, to have equally positive and “exquisite” experiences. (That was how my midwife described one of my births!)

I strongly believe that a woman who is feeling relieved of pain, healthy, empowered and connected with her baby will be in the best possible space to achieve the birth she desires. The Nurturelife treatments that I provide will relieve the discomforts of pregnancy and allow women to rest and recharge in a safe and supportive environment.

It is very exciting for me to have joined the team of wonderful, supporting women at CoastLife Midwifery and I am looking forward to journeying with many expectant women in this very special time of their lives.
